Mechanical keycaps maintain texture and durability over time

kronos is the first custom mechanical keyboard kit by keebscape co. It is an unassuming take on the classic 60% form factor O-ring mount design. The chassis is comprised of a single piece of polycarbonate with an internal brass weight. The weight fits through the bottom of the polycarbonate chassis in the shape of a minimalistic representation of Saturn. Named after the Greek deity, Kronos (also written as Cronus, or Cronos), the board features subtle engravings reminiscent of Galileos earliest sketches of Saturn, from 1610 and 1616. The sandblasted polycarbonate chassis in conjunction with RGB underglow from the PCB results in a pleasing diffusion of light throughout the uniform bezels. This board does not offer anything particularly groundbreaking in terms of design or materials used in construction, but our hope is that it will provide an in-stock, high-quality 60% O-ring mounted custom keyboard kit at a relatively affordable price to those who want it.
